Dhamma Sota

Dhamma Sota means“Stream of Dhamma” .

It is situated at Village Rahaka, Sohna (Haryana) almost 70 Kms. from New Delhi Railway Station. Established in the year 2000, the centre is in 16 acres of land surrounded by the deep green valley of Aravali Hills.

Facilities comprise: A pagoda with individual meditation cells, a meditation hall for 100 students, three smaller halls for 40 people, a commercial-size kitchen, two dining rooms. The accommodation available at the centre is sufficient for 120 meditators (72 males and 48 females). All rooms are for single occupancy and have attached bathrooms. A simple vegetarian menu, developed to satisfy the needs of most students, is offered at all courses.

Ten-day courses are held twice every month for new and old students.  These courses start on every 1rst and 3rd Wednesday of the month.

Language used: Courses are conducted in bilingual language (Hindi and English).

On every course we have many students whose native language is not English or Hindi. Course materials are available in almost 50 languages. If English or Hindi is not your native language then contact the center to see if we can accommodate you.
